Full Weekend (16.0 CECs) - $325.00
Single Day (8.0 CECs) - $200.00
Single Workshop (2.0 CECs) - $45.00
BONUS
If you have attended a previous HYDRO-FIT Academy, take $25 off the Full Weekend
or Single Day Tuition.
Tuition includes all workshops, lectures, master classes and
course materials. In addition, your Full Weekend and Single Day tuition includes a nutritious
lunch each day and healthful snacks throughout the weekend.
Course Descriptions and Schedule
A selection of in-depth workshops comprise the core curriculum for the
weekend. Each workshop combines a lecture, and a pool practicum with a
specific training focus and equipment application. The curriculum this
year will be divided into Shallow Water Training on
Saturday and Deep Water Training on Sunday. Attend both days or select
just one. If you have attended a previous Academy Weekend (either
shallow water or deep water) the courses this year will offer new
content and updated materials.

Turbulence & Tranquillity with Craig Stuart & Steph Toogood

Indulge yourself and celebrate the joy of mindful movement in the water. Discover how to integrate high-intensity training with purposeful relaxation techniques. Strengthen your body and nourish your soul as you feel ignited with a new sense of POWER (turbulence) and GRACE (tranquillity). 2.0 CECs
Channel Challenge with Rhonda Flatz-Byers

Just what you asked for - Rhonda has expanded last year’s popular master class into a full workshop. Experience the power of velocity and rushing water in Osborn’s unique lazy river pool. Learn how to create channels of turbulence to challenge your students to achieve optimal gains in strength and endurance. 2.0 CECs

Aqua Up! with Craig Stuart
2:00-4:00pm
Hand-held buoyant and resistive equipment presents unique biomechanical and musculoskeletal challenges. This workshop examines the correct use and placement of buoyancy equipment to provide resistance, assistance and support. Experience and learn a variety of innovative muscle-conditioning routines using Hand Buoys and Noodles. 2.0 CECs
New Age Aqua with Steph Toogood

Improve the quality of life for your active and inactive seniors. Learn how to use simple choreography and rhythmical exercise to enhance physical and mental function. Learn how to make exercise more enjoyable and fun with meaningful movement sets designed to decelerate the effects of aging and promote well being. 2.0 CECs

Deep, Deep, Deeper with Steph Toogood
8:30-10:30am
Deep-cardio challenge, deep-muscular endurance plus deep-core training. Learn to create progressive, flowing choreography, utilizing directional changes by manipulating cadence, lever length and planes of motion. Discover how to blend vertical, horizontal and diagonal working positions into unusual routines with multi-moves and maxi-progressions. 2.0 CECs
H2O Sport-Cross with Craig Stuart
10:45am-12:45pm
Prepare your students (and athletes) for better function and improved performance on land. Integrate sport-specific conditioning drills with balance & agility training to challenge all the systems in the body. Go beyond basic training techniques to develop the hidden athlete in each of your students. 2.0 CECs

Deep Dynamics with Steph Toogood
2:00-4:00pm
Learn creative and effective ways to optimally challenge and promote cardiovascular conditioning in deep water. Discover how to manipulate inertia currents, directional changes and vertical propulsion to provide increased levels of workload. Learn how to individualize deep water workouts with logical progressions. 2.0 CECs
Deep Cardio Core with Craig Stuart

Train your students for dynamic stability and improved posture in this
versatile and challenging deep water workout. Learn how to integrate core stabilization techniques and multi-plane movement to target and challenge the deepest muscle layers in the body while pushing fat-burning systems into high gear. 2.0 CECs |
