HYDRO-FIT's premier training weekend is moving to a new location for 2010. The HYDRO-FIT Academy Weekend will be held at the Willamalane Pool in Springfield, Oregon. The reason for the change? Springfield is within the greater Eugene, Oregon metro area providing a convenient location for attendees who wish to travel in from other parts of the country. Willamalane Pool is an easy 15-minute cab or shuttle bus ride from Eugene's Malhon Sweet airport and within 10-minutes from the I-5 corridor.
HYDRO-FITs Academy Training Weekend is a one-time year event offering cutting-edge fitness education designed to meet the needs of today’s water fitness professional. The educational approach focuses on practical learning with special emphasis on instructional methods and teaching skills.
The schedule this year will be a repeat of last year's popular format, but with new courses and fresh sessions - of course! There will be one day devoted to deep-water training (Saturday) and one day devoted to shallow-water training (Sunday). Choose to attend both days or select just the focus that interests you.
If you attended a previous Academy Training Weekend (either shallow-water or deep-water), you know that each year we feature new course content and updated materials. All courses and workshops earn continuing education credits with the Aquatic Exercise Association.
