Each workshop combines lecture, master class and pool practicum with specific learning objectives, equipment options and teaching practice. Upon successful completion of all four workshops and an online test, participants earn the designation of “HYDRO-FIT Qualified Instructor” and have access to special benefits and privileges available only from HYDRO-FIT. Earn at total of 8.0 AEA CECs for all four workshops.
H2O Tool Box Learn the scientific principles and physical factors affecting shallow water exercise and discover how water can be used as a purposeful training tool. This session introduces the HYDRO-FIT method of teaching water exercise. Learn specific exercises and techniques to target muscular strength, core stability, aerobic endurance and flexibility. Learn and apply HYDRO-FIT movement vocabulary. teaching terminology and functional progressions to deliver safe and effective shallow water exercise. 2.0 AEA CECs
Interval Cardio Challenge Harness the power of liquid resistance and amplify it for maximum results. Discover how to combine grounded aerobic exercises and high-intensity strength intervals to build muscle and push fat burning systems into high gear. Power, Balance & Strength Discover and learn how to create challenging choreography with complex movement patterns using progressive levels of resistance to strengthen and tone all the major muscle groups. Practice and learn appropriate training guidelines for Noodles and Hand Buoys. This workshop places special emphasis on safety by examining the biomechanical and musculoskeletal considerations for using hand-held resistive and buoyant equipment in shallow water exercise. 2.0 AEA CECs
Liquid Abs Prepare your students for dynamic stability and improved posture with versatile and challenging abdominal toning routines. Liquid Abs integrates core stabilization techniques and multi-plane movement patterns to target and train the deepest muscle layers in the body.
