Pauline Ivens will facilitate the AEA Aquatic Fitness Professional Certification Review on Saturday September 20. On Sunday September 21 there will be a full day of workshops, with special guest presenter Steph Toogood. Workshops will focus on hand buoy solutions, senior water exercise, and a fusion of power and relaxation. Up to 6.0 AEA CECs can be earned.

Pauline Ivens, MS. Pauline brings over 36 years of teaching experience to all her events, and is respected for her excellence in aquatic fitness leadership and education. She is an AEA Training Specialist and recipient of the 1997 AEA Aquatic Fitness Professional Award.
Steph Toogood. Steph is an AEA Training Specialist, a three-star IDEA presenter, education consultant for Speedo International and recipient of the 2004 AEA Aquatic Fitness Professional Award.

Liquid Fusion brings together the movement qualities of power and relaxation. By blending movement motifs the body is conditioned and soothed in complimentary sequences. Indulge in its fluid tranquility, and/or work hard against it! Learn new ways to incorporate power moves and relaxation techniques in cooler water.

Enjoyable exercise using rhythmical movement to motivate the unmotivated and to encourage an often sedentary population to enjoy working to improve function. Mostly basic, simple choreography, interspersed with more complex sections to ensure focusing of the mind. Each segment offers meaningful movement that can assist with the deceleration of the effects of the ageing process and improve quality of life, enhancing the joy of living with an active lifestyle. This lively, varied workshop showing progressions and modifications will elevate mood and raise self-esteem for this very special population. Throughout, the emphasis will be on balance, co-ordination, flexibility and muscular endurance.
